The Joint Learning Program reaches 3,000 workshops delivered
The Joint Learning Program (JLP) delivered its 3,000th workshop on February 11, 2015 as six workshops were held in Toronto, Ontario (2); in Nanaimo, British Columbia; in Montreal, Quebec; in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories; and in Shediac, New Brunswick that day.
The delivery of JLP workshops continues to increase. It took 40 months from January 2007 to March 2010 to reach the first 1000 workshops while it took 30 months to reach the 2,000th workshop. Due to the success and uptake of the workshops, the 3,000th workshop was reached in somewhat more than 27 months which represents, in average, 37 workshops per month delivered across departments.
This impressive accomplishment is a reflection of the program’s vitality and its favorable reputation in the Public Service. This milestone was achieved because of the involvement of close to 2,000 organizers and of over 1,600 facilitators that welcome around 60,000 participants since 2007.
