Creating a Healthy, Safe, and Inclusive Culture
Training for Occupational Health and Safety Committees
This engaging two day in person workshop will provide participants with the opportunity to create a healthy, safe, and inclusive culture within the core federal public service.
Co-designed and co-facilitated by union and employer representatives, the workshop integrates a participatory style of learning where participants will gain knowledge, tools, and resources to make a positive contribution to their departmental Occupational Health and Safety Committees.
A thorough needs analysis was conducted to ensure that this training met mandatory training requirements, relevant to the public service, under the Canada Labour Code and the National Joint Council (NJC) OHS Directive.
- Equip participants with the knowledge, skills and confidence that will enable them to make a positive contribution to their department’s OHS Committee.
- Excite participants about the potential of OHS in shaping a healthy, safe, and inclusive culture in the Federal Public Service.
