The JLP at the First 2016 PSAC-Quebec Racially Visible Members Conference
The JLP’s Quebec region held a kiosk at the PSAC-Quebec Racially Visible Members Conference which took place in Sainte-Adèle from November 4 to 6, 2016. The theme of the conference was: ''Race Forward: Our Union, Our Community, Our Future!''.
The objectives of the PSAC Regional Conference for Racially Visible Members were:
- To discuss, strategize and mobilize on issues impacting Racially Visible Members in their region;
- To share experiences and network with other Racially Visible Members in the region;
- To empower and inspire Racially Visible Members to become active in their union, community and workplaces.
The JLP would like to thank JLP facilitators, Farrah Fleurimond and René Huacuja, who hosted the kiosk to promote the JLP and its workshops during the conference.
