THE JLP WELCOMES NEW FACILITATORS
The National Capital Region hosted an orientation session for new facilitators in Ottawa from November 21 to 25, 2016. The session was facilitated by the JLP Program Officers, Patrick Dorval (Employer) and Rachel Besharah (Union). The participants were introduced to the Creating a Harassment-Free Workplace, Respecting Differences and Anti-Discrimination and Duty to Accommodate learning kits.
In the evaluation forms participants responded enthusiastically to the session. “Best week of training I ever had, hands down.” and “This week has been an eye opener. I was not sure I could do this kind of work even though I was going in that direction. Now, I’m confident that I can do this and the next few years will be great!” were a just a couple comments received.
