Promotional activity at the 2019 Career Boot Camp in Ottawa.
During the 2019 Career Boot Camp, the Joint Learning Program (JLP) highlighted its mandate and objectives for the benefit of new and/or young public servants. The JLP also provided an overview of the workshops and various learning opportunities that it offers.
According to the organizers, close to 500 individuals attended this two-day event. In the opinion of a number of participants, traffic was particularly high at the JLP kiosk.
“We had over 60 visitors. It was a great experience for newcomers to the federal public service. They were impressed to find out that such a partnership existed between Management and Labour,” declared our Regional Coordinators, Deirdre Brown (Labour) and Patrick Rosemond (Management).
